One rainy afternoon, Mei follows the pathway through the forest until it leads her to a sparkling waterfall and a secret cave. Inside the cave Mei discovers colorful Mountain Spirits who need her help. Tasked with breaking a curse placed on their mountain by a mischievous wind spirit, Mei bravely navigates steep cliffs, wide valleys, and numerous puzzling challenges. Ultimately Mei finds a way to restore the mountain’s magic.

Ming is whisked out of his bed by a gentle breeze which carries him down into the heart of a vibrant night market. The night market is filled with lively food spirits preparing for a grand feast. Ming joyfully assists the playful spirits. From helping dumpling spirits craft their signature dishes, to rolling intricate designs into mooncakes, Ming even gets to stir bubbling pots filled with sweet milk tea. As the market comes alive with delicious aromas and colorful creations, Ming experiences a sense of belonging and joy. When morning arrives, Ming finds himself back in his bed, pondering whether or not any of it was real.

Ignoring her mother's warnings to stay close to home, Lina is drawn out of her bedroom in the middle of the night by hauntingly enticing music. Lina then ventures deep into the nearby bamboo forest, where she soon discovers a group of mischievous spirits who have stolen her village’s lanterns. Faced with the spirits' enchanting plan to entrap her, Lina cleverly deceives them into helping her. Lina’s journey teaches her the importance of caution and the value of her mother’s wisdom.
